For operators & managers

Delivery robots for your business, compared

Service robots carry plates, bus tables and move supplies down hospital corridors. Delivery networks bring orders to the door by sidewalk robot or drone. Here’s what’s available, what it carries and how to buy it.

Prices & specs checked Oct 23, 2026

Most delivery robots for businesses are sold or leased through dealers and integrators, with pricing quoted per deployment. Because there are no public list prices, we don’t show any. Below we compare published payload and tray specs, and explain how to run a pilot that tells you whether the robot pays off.

Sidewalk & drone delivery: where it operates

These are networks, not products you buy. Businesses usually join them through a delivery app or a partnership.

Will a service robot pay off?

Robots rarely replace staff one-for-one. They take over the walking: carrying plates out and bus tubs back, or moving supplies down corridors. That lets people spend more time with guests or patients. Measure:

  • Trips per shift the robot completes
  • Staff steps or time saved (before vs. after)
  • Table turn time and guest satisfaction
  • Breakage and incidents

How to run a 30-day pilot

  1. Map your floor: aisle widths, thresholds, ramps and lighting.
  2. Get purchase and lease quotes from at least two makers. For restaurants, compare Bear, Pudu and Keenon.[1][2][3]
  3. Agree success metrics before the robot arrives.
  4. Train staff on loading and emergency stops, and assign an owner.
  5. Review the data weekly, then decide.

Contract terms to ask about

  • Response time for repairs and loaner units
  • Software update and map-change fees
  • Battery replacement cost and lifespan
  • Exit terms for leases
